Sand Key
Twin Gulf-front towers on Sand Key, with generous balconies, sweeping water views, and a strong amenity package.
Crescent Beach Club's two towers stand on the Gulf side of Sand Key with the full-width water views and oversized balconies that made the complex a fixture of the island's skyline. Between the towers, the amenity deck (pool, spa, courts, and social spaces) carries more of a resort feel than many of its neighbors.
Units span a wide range of sizes, including some of Sand Key's more impressive corner and penthouse plans. The complex appeals to buyers who want Gulf-front quiet but also value having amenities and a social fabric inside the gates.
Tennis in the morning, the beach all afternoon, and sunset from a balcony deep enough to actually live on. Publix and the mainland are one bridge east; Clearwater Beach's restaurant scene one bridge north.
Twin-tower complexes sometimes carry different financial pictures per tower. We compare both (budgets, reserves, and any assessment history) so your offer lands in the right tower at the right number. For the framework, read our Condo Buyer's Guide and Flood Zones 101.

Part or all of this property's land is in FEMA's Special Flood Hazard Area. Lenders making federally backed mortgages require flood insurance on buildings in that area. Read Flood Zones 101 for what that means for a purchase.
Flood zones are FEMA's for the land parcel (for a condo, the whole complex), from the effective Flood Insurance Rate Map for Pinellas County (August 24, 2021, with later FEMA revisions) as published by Pinellas County, checked against FEMA's national flood layer. Zones touching under 1% of the parcel are left out. Flood insurance is rated on the building's own zone and elevation, which an elevation certificate confirms. Evacuation level is from the Pinellas County Property Appraiser record and matches Pinellas County Emergency Management's Know Your Zone map.

The current note on this page: Longer-stay oriented like most of Sand Key. We'll confirm the current minimums. That is not the association's written rule. Confirm the policy before you offer, and read the Short-Term Rental Rules guide.
Read the Condo Buyer's Guide and the milestone inspection page. Ask for the milestone report, the structural integrity reserve study, the budget, and the last year of board minutes. The association's documents matter as much as the unit.
